Orders and quantities
What is the minimum order quantity?
Stock sizes from our online shop are sold from 25 pcs (wine boxes from 10 pcs), custom boxes in a new size are made from 100 pcs and die-cut shapes requiring a new cutting die from 300 pcs. We do not sell single boxes.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
The inside dimensions of the box in millimetres (length × width × height), the quantity, whether you want single-wall (3-ply) or double-wall (5-ply) board, and the delivery address. If you need printing, tell us its extent (logo, several sides, the whole box), the number of colours, and send your logo as vector curves. If you are unsure about the board, send us the weight of your product and we will recommend it.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Within 48 hours of your enquiry. Send it to obchod@boxmade.sk or use the form on the Custom boxes page.
Do you offer quantity discounts?
Yes. For custom production the price per box decreases with larger quantities – we are happy to quote several quantities at once so you can see the difference. For stock sizes from the online shop the discount is applied automatically in the cart from 100 pcs of one size, and from 70 pcs for large shipping boxes. For large or regular orders we prepare an individual wholesale offer.
Do you send samples?
We do not send free box samples. You can order our printing sample book – the 4.37 € postage and packing is refunded as a coupon on your first order over 200 €.
Production and materials
Which corrugated board do you use, and what is the difference between 3-ply and 5-ply?
We use single-wall (3-ply) and double-wall (5-ply) corrugated board from the Smurfit Westrock range. 3-ply suits lighter and medium-weight products, 5-ply is for heavy, large or stacked shipments and transport on pallets. We do not make 7-ply board.
What is the largest box you can make?
We also make large-format boxes and packaging for long parts. Send us the size and we will confirm it in our quote within 48 hours.
What types of packaging do you make?
Slotted boxes (FEFCO 0201), shipping and pallet boxes, pallet collars, layer pads and dividers, lids and trays, furniture and long-part packaging, tubes and die-cut shapes – mailer, pastry, wine and book boxes.
What is a cutting die and who pays for it?
A cutting die is the tool used to die-cut shaped packaging. For a new shape we charge a one-off technical preparation fee; the die stays with us and is not charged again on repeat orders.
Printing
Do you print on boxes?
Yes, from 100 pcs. We print digitally directly on corrugated board in our own print shop – no printing plates, in black or full colour, up to 120 cm wide. We do not print white. Printing on the inside is possible but requires a second pass.
Delivery
What is the delivery time?
Stock sizes are usually dispatched within 1 – 3 working days. For custom production we confirm the date in the quote.
How do you deliver?
By our own vehicle, a freight forwarder or courier (DPD, SDS pallet transport); large-format boxes always go on a pallet. Collection in Jablonica is free. Delivery outside Slovakia is arranged individually – write to obchod@boxmade.sk.
Documents, sustainability and safety
Do you issue a declaration of conformity under PPWR?
Yes. For packaging made of 3-ply and 5-ply corrugated board we issue an EU declaration of conformity and a technical data sheet for the packaging. You receive them automatically with the invoice for the first delivery and can request them again at office@boxmade.sk. More on our PPWR page.
Is your packaging recyclable? Are you certified?
Yes, corrugated board packaging is fully recyclable. Box Made s.r.o. is certified to ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management).
Can pastry boxes be in direct contact with food?
No. Pastry boxes are not intended for direct contact with unpackaged food.
