PPWR – packaging compliant with EU regulation
Since 12 August 2026, Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR) applies across the EU. Packaging from our production complies with it, and we will provide all the documents you need.
What you get from us
- EU declaration of conformity No. BM/2026/001 – covers all packaging we manufacture: stock sizes, custom packaging and printed packaging.
- Technical and material data sheet (TML) for your specific box – board grade, area, grammage and packaging weight, and material identification (corrugated board, code 20 PAP).
- Traceability of each delivery – manufacturer, packaging type and order number are shown on the pallet label and delivery note.
What our packaging is made of
- Single-material paper packaging – corrugated board (20 PAP), with no plastic or aluminium components, recyclable in paper collection.
- Heavy metals below the 100 mg/kg limit, no intentionally added PFAS – documented by declarations from our board supplier.
- We use water-based inks for printing.
A box made to size = less empty space
The regulation limits empty space in transport and e-commerce packaging to a maximum of 50%. The simplest way to comply is a box made exactly to the size of your product. Send us the dimensions and we will prepare a price quote within 48 hours.
Food contact
Our packaging is not intended for direct contact with unpackaged food.
You get the documents automatically
We send the declaration of conformity and the data sheet for your box by email together with the invoice for the first delivery of each packaging type. If you need them again, write to office@boxmade.sk.
