Box Made is a family-run corrugated packaging manufacturer at the foot of the Little Carpathians. We make packaging from 3- and 5-ply corrugated board – from stock flap boxes to custom shipping packaging for machines, air conditioners, furniture and electronics. Where we come from
The company was founded in 2000 as KT Obal, a small family business in Jablonica. For twenty-two years it grew together with its customers – from the first flap boxes for local companies to full truckloads of packaging for manufacturers in Slovakia and abroad. Then we bought it, and the new Box Made brand brought new technology and a clear decision: not to be just another converter making small boxes, but a partner for industry. Today the company is 26 years old and still manufactures where it started.
Where we are today
We make a box in a new size from 100 pieces, ship stock sizes from 25 pieces within 1–3 days, and you get a price quote within 48 hours. We also make large-format boxes that most converters do not have the machines for, and tens of thousands of boxes leave our plant every week. Within 100 km we deliver with our own vehicles, and we are one of the few Slovak corrugated packaging manufacturers certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 – quality and care for the environment are not slogans on the wall for us, but an audit every year.
What we have under one roof
We cut, crease, die-cut, glue and stitch board here in Jablonica – with a slotter for classic flap boxes and a die-cutter for shapes that cannot otherwise be made from a flat sheet. Our digital printer prints directly on board up to 120 cm wide, in one colour or full CMYK, from 100 pieces. We do not outsource anything, so when a size needs to change at the last minute, you deal with us, not with three companies in a row.
We waste nothing
We turn the offcuts from die-cutting into our own shredded cardboard – void fill for parcels. Customers get filling made from the same board as their box, and no waste leaves us for collection. Cardboard is the most sustainable packaging there is, so it makes sense to us to use every last piece of it.
How we work
We advise on the packaging your product really needs, not the most expensive one. Sometimes adjusting the size by a few centimetres or choosing a different flute is enough to bring the price down without losing strength. The price is fair and known in advance, and we keep to deadlines. We take every order equally seriously – five hundred boxes for an e-shop or a hundred thousand for a manufacturing plant – because we know our packaging is the first thing your customer holds in their hands.

We want to be the first choice for Slovak and Czech manufacturers that pack large and heavy products. That is why we invest in digital printing and in an online calculator where you can work out the price of a custom box yourself in a minute, and why we are expanding production towards larger formats and longer runs. Our ambition is for cardboard to be not only the most sustainable packaging, but also the easiest to order.
